“You have so many great voices in the country.
You have so much love and you have so little respect for what people do in the media.
And I am not going to take it.
I am going to fight it.”

He’s been criticized by some of his supporters for his response to the Orlando mass shooting.
The president told a packed room of journalists in the ballroom of the Newseum in Washington, DC on February 20, 2017 that “everybody was saying that he should have been more restrained” and that he shouldn’t have been “very nice to the families.”
“I didn’t say that,” he said.
“That’s not my style.”
He said he “didn’t think I should have gotten into that,” and he said he didn’t know the full story of the shooting.
“But I think there was a lot of people who were just trying to make it look like it was an act of love, but in fact it was,” Trump said.
“I think it was the first time that he’s been attacked like that in a long time.
It was very emotional.”
The president’s comments came just days after the Republican National Committee condemned the president for “slanderous and false allegations” and said he has “become an embarrassment to the Republican Party.”

“They’ve got a Congress that is dysfunctional,” Trump told the reporters.
“They have a president that’s getting worse and the Republican majority in Congress, which is the most Republican in history, is getting worse.”

I think it’s the Democrats.
The Democrats are getting worse, and the Republicans are getting better.
I mean, look at the Senate.
They’re a mess.
I’m not happy with the Democrats,” Trump added.
