Antonio was next on the scoresheet for Man UtE, as he headed in a James Rodriguez corner to put them ahead with 11 minutes remaining.
The Dutchman was next to be sent off for a second booking in the 77th minute.
Ademola Lookman was then sent off with a second yellow card for diving on Yoan Gouffran.
The hosts then scored again when Adebolajo converted a late penalty.
City then took the lead through Adebo, who headed in the rebound after Gouffra’s corner.
It was City’s third win in four games.
Man Utds next game is away to West Ham United on Saturday.
