Italia striker Giorgios Chielli, whose goal gave Juventus the 2-0 victory, scored the only goal in the match and the only penalty as Napoli beat the Bianconeri.
Giorgio Claudio Lippi was involved in the Napoli goal, which saw Gianluigi Buffon’s corner go straight for his chest.
The striker also had a hand in the second goal for Napoli, who had the first chance in the game after half-time.
Napoli goalkeeper Stefano Mauri gave a free kick from close range, but Chiella was on hand to poke it away.
Lippi made it 3-0 after just eight minutes with a low finish after being brought down by Marcellin Giorgini.
“He was just getting back to his feet and his pace and strength gave us an advantage,” said Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri.
Juventus now look set to get back on track against the Italian champions at the Stadio Olimpico on Wednesday.
